PaisaFinder is designed to be private by default. Here's exactly what happens when you use the site.
What we collect
Nothing that can identify you personally. We do not have a login, we do not run analytics that fingerprint you, and we do not use ad-tech tracking pixels.
Where your calculator inputs go
- All calculation runs in your browser. Your inputs never touch our servers.
- If you copy a "share link", your inputs are encoded in the URL - whoever you send the link to can see those inputs (but we can't).
- Theme preference (light/dark) is stored in your browser's sessionStorage. It's cleared when you close the tab.
Cookies
We do not set any cookies. The site uses localStorage only for remembering if you've dismissed the "Install app" banner - nothing else.
Third-party assets
Two assets load from third-party CDNs:
- Google Fonts - serves the Inter and JetBrains Mono typefaces. Google may log your IP per their privacy policy.
- jsDelivr - serves Chart.js (used for charts). jsDelivr may log requests per their privacy policy.
Both are standard web infrastructure. Neither receives your calculator inputs - only the fact that you loaded the page.
Service worker + offline
PaisaFinder registers a service worker that caches the app so it works offline. The cache lives on your device, controlled by your browser. Clearing site data in your browser removes it.
Children
The site is safe for users of any age, but we don't deliberately collect information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we ever add analytics, ads, or any form of tracking, we'll update this page and note the change at the top.
